ALMYRIDA BEACH

Almyrida is a seasonal resort town, without being overcrowded.
There are lots of beach-side taverna's and bars, as well as a few shops, a diving centre and places to rent cars, motorbikes, kayaks, catamarans and surf equipment.

KALYVES BEACH
Kalyves has 2 beaches, one at each side of the village. The beach in Kalyves is wonderful for the sunset!
Kalyves is more than a tourist resort, being a real village, having all necessary shops, pharmacy, butchery, ... Worth exploring!

There are so many more beaches to explore on Crete.
The beaches on the south of the Island of Crete are usually with pebbles.
