Spiti Athinà is situated in Gavalohori,
a typical and authentic village in northwest Crete, only 3 miles from the coast (Almyrida) and between the 2 charming towns Chania and Rethymnon.
​​
There are 3 bedrooms: 1 downstairs and 2 upstairs, all lovely decorated and each one has air conditioning.
And 2 bathrooms: 1 downstairs and
1 upstairs,
OUTSIDE
The wonderful vine covered terrace is situated between the living area and the swimming pool and provides ample shadow. This is where you will pass most time of your holidays!
It is next to the garden which has some citrus trees, a mulberry,
a pomegranate and an old olive tree.
The vista from the terrace:
from the terrace and the balconies upstairs there is a beautiful view on a small chapel and an orthodox church in the Byantine style, and further past olive clad hills to the majestic White Mountains.
INSIDE

The old natural stones are still visible and give this special character to
villa Spiti Athinà.
The 50 cm thick walls keep the temperature low in summer.
All windows are equippted with retractable mosquito nets.
