The Villa
THE HOLIDAY HOME
This lovely holiday house has been tastefully renovated from a traditional village house to a very atmospheric villa with a large private pool (6m x 10 m).
Spiti Athinà is situated in Gavalohori,
a typical and authentic village in northwest Crete, only 3 miles from the coast (Almyrida) and between the 2 charming towns Chania and Rethymnon.
There are 3 bedrooms: 1 downstairs and 2 upstairs, all lovely decorated and each one has air conditioning.
And 2 bathrooms: 1 downstairs and
1 upstairs,
THE VINE-COVERED TERRACE
This wonderful terrace, shaded by grapevines, lies between the living area and the swimming pool, and offers a pleasant living plice to relqax during the day or evening. It will most likely become the spot where you spend much of your holiday time.
Right next to the terrace is the garden, with several citrus trees, a mulberry tree, a pomegranate tree and an old olive tree.
THE VISTA
From the terrace and the upstairs balconies you can enjoy a beautiful view of a small chapel and an Orthodox church in Byzantine style. Beyond the olive-covered hills rise the majestic White Mountains, creating a landscape that is both peaceful and impressive.
LIVING AREA
The old natural stones are still visible and give this special character to
villa Spiti Athinà.
The 50 cm thick walls keep the temperature low in summer.
All windows are equippted with retractable mosquito nets.

The utility room contains:
